George T. Whalen III
owner and principal broker
George is the third generation owner and principal broker of the agency. He earned his B.A. from Siena College and his MBA from Syracuse University. In addition to being a lifelong Millbrook resident, George is the President and CEO of the Bank of Millbrook, and a sales executive with the George T. Whalen Insurance Agency. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Francis Hospital, a Trustee of Millbrook School, a Director of James L. Taylor Manufacturing Co. Inc., and a Trustee of the Millbrook Tribute Garden Inc. George and his wife, Susie, have four children and reside in Millbrook.

Susan R. Whalen
agent
Susie has lived and worked in Dutchess County her entire life, currently residing in Millbrook with her family. She earned her B.S. from Fairfield University. After having four children, she joined her husband, George, in the real estate sales business. Susie has a great love of the outdoors and of horses and is a past board member of the Dutchess County Historical Society.

Peter Barry Devers
agent
Peter is a lifelong Millbrook resident and has been with George T. Whalen Real Estate for over 30 years. Peter earned his BSFS degree from Georgetown University. A lover of American History, local history and falconry, Peter has been an active falconer, training and hunting hawks, for over 30 years. Peter is on staff of the Archives of Falconry in Boise, Idaho and has written many articles for national and international publications. He has one of the most complete libraries of hawking books in the English language to be found anywhere. An active participant in the sport of beagling, Peter serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Sandanona Harehounds, and Treasurer of Millbrook’s Boy Scout Troop 31.
